A few short weeks ago, USD (P&R) approved a new organizational structure for CPP/CPMS.  The core of this effort was to align ourselves along functional lines of business to increase the level of collaboration across our organization and optimize the geographic footprint at our new location, the Mark Center.  Our structure now mirrors the OPM core HR business functions and consolidates the number of CPMS directorates from thirteen to six.  The realigned structure allows us to serve you better as well as properly positions us to lead DoD HR policy, identifying initiatives that support the Department in meeting its Human Resource needs.

This fall we will launch an updated and enhanced CPMS public website.  The new web site will be user-friendly for both staff and customers, allowing you to search for information by topic, instead of Division name. This will enable a more intuitive search capability.  The new web site will continue to include a "Hot Topics" section to communicate important news and senior leader messages, and will provide specific points of contact for our customers.
